Andy Murray's first-round opponent Richard Gasquet has revealed he is exhausted after his first title in three years saw him move back into the top 50.

The former world No.7 moved up 23 places to 45, marking an impressive run of form when a fortnight ago he was ranked 82. But a gruelling three-set Open de Nice final against Fernando Verdasco has taken its toll, and Gasquet admits he would have preferred an extra day's rest before taking on the world No.4 at Roland Garros.

"It's hard to recover after a match like Saturday's, which was exhausting," Gasquet said in the Independent. "I would prefer to play on Tuesday, but it's not a big problem. While I could be fresher I'm going into the match with a lot of confidence - as much confidence as I've had for a long time."

In the women's rankings, there was no movement in the top ten as none of the big names were in action ahead of this week's French Open. Strasbourg champion Maria Sharapova remains at No. 13, while Alexandra Dulgheru is still ranked at 32 after defending her Warsaw Open title.

Britain's Anne Keothavong plummeted to 154 in the rankings after her first round defeat to Flavia Pennetta at Roland Garros, but after missing the second half of last season with injury, she will be expected to return to the top 100 with few rankings points to defend.
