Webber expects tough weekend in Valencia

Mark Webber said he expects another tough race for Red Bull around the tight confines of the port of Valencia this weekend.
Although the Australian trails championship leader Lewis Hamilton by just six points in the drivers' standings, rivals McLaren appear to have the competitive edge after back-to-back one-twos in Turkey and Canada.
Adding to Webber's sense of unease is the fact that Red Bull have not scored a point in the two races to date in the Spanish city.
"Looking to Valencia, it's another venue that might not be that easy for us," said Webber. "But we surprised ourselves in Canada where we were a little more competitive than we thought we would be. It was a tight group as we finished behind the main teams, McLaren and Ferrari, but I still think in Valencia we have a good chance to get good results.
"I wouldn't pick it as a venue where we're going to go and get an easy victory because I don't think the layout of the circuit is one that suits us so much. But it's part of the championship, we have to compete on all the tracks, and that's how it is."
Despite his reservations about his team's chances this weekend, Webber is confident that the balance of power could swing back Red Bull's way in the two races that follow in Britain and Germany as the Silverstone and Hockenheim circuits are likely to play to the team's strengths.
"Looking at the races after Valencia, I think we can be a bit stronger again."
