Nico Rosberg has officially invited Sebastian Vettel to Mercedes' debrief in Malaysia following the pair's tetchy exchange after the Australian Grand Prix.

At the press conference for the podium finishers, Vettel poked fun at Rosberg's claim he wanted to see the field close up after Mercedes finished half a minute ahead of his Ferrari, suggesting Mercedes opens up its garage to the public in Malaysia. It preceded Vettel's former Red Bull boss Christian Horner calling for equalisation in the sport.

On Tuesday Rosberg took to Twitter to formally invite fellow countryman Vettel to the team's Sepang debrief.

Though clearly a tongue-in-cheek offer, Vettel is one of the few F1 drivers without a Twitter account so Rosberg may need to think about another way to invite to the four-time world champion.
