Kimi Raikkonen will sit out of this week's Silverstone test following his big accident on the first lap of the British Grand Prix, but is expected to be back for the German Grand Prix.

He will be replaced by Marussia and Ferrari development driver Jules Bianchi on Wednesday with test driver Pedro de la Rosa on track on Tuesday.

Raikkonen escaped his accident without serious injury, but still registered 47G at the moment of impact. He limped away from the car with bruising to his ankle and legs before being given medical checks at the circuit.

The two-day test at Silverstone starts on Tuesday and will see all the teams back in action ahead of the German Grand Prix in two weeks' time.
