The Ferrari Driver Academy gave three of its young drivers a chance to drive the team's Fiorano race circuit this week.

On Monday, Jules Bianchi, Mirko Bortolotti and Daniel Zampieri took turns at the wheel of a 2008 Ferrari F1 car, working with the engineers and analysing the results. Tuesday was given over to physical and psycho-attitudinal exercises as well as English lessons in preparation for the wide range of demands on a modern F1 driver.

Bianchi, who is preparing for the next round of the GP2 championship at the European Grand Prix, was the first to head out on track and said: "At Ferrari they believe a lot in me. Naturally, I want to win [in GP2 to prove myself], especially as opportunities like this don't come along twice."

Bianchi is currently eighth in GP2 standings, tied on points with his ART Grand Prix team-mate Sam Bird, having not won a race.
