Aguero arrives in Manchester as Atletico confirm exit

Atletico Madrid boss Gregorio Manzano has confirmed Sergio Aguero is on the verge of leaving the club, and the Argentina international has arrived in Manchester ahead of a proposed move to Manchester City.
Aguero is seen by Roberto Mancini is an ideal replacement for Carlos Tevez, who seeks a move away from Eastlands. It is likely Aguero will cost in the region of £38 million.
Manzano told Cope on Tuesday night: "It does look like this long-running issue will be resolved in the coming hours. It is at an end.
"I have asked the players to focus on Thursday's game [against Stromsgodset]. Unfortunately Kun will not be there. I had hoped that he could have chosen a better, more professional way to leave and shown more love to the club."
Diego Forlan said he was unsure of the progress of the deal as he had not spoken to Aguero since Uruguay knocked Argentina out of the Copa America.
"I have no idea what is going on with the Kun deal," he said. "There have been a lot of rumours, but I've only had a small chat with him when we met in the Copa America, but nothing was sorted out."
