Tevez risks another fine after defying City's wishes

Carlos Tevez has risked the wrath of Manchester City after returning to Argentina without permission.
On Tuesday Tevez accepted a two-week fine imposed by his club for five breaches of contract during City's Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich, but the striker could be hit with a second misconduct charge if he fails to report to training on Wednesday.
With the majority of his squad linking up with their international sides, City boss Roberto Mancini had given his players the day off on Tuesday, but Tevez was expected to return on Wednesday morning to work on his match fitness.
But Tevez arrived in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, where he told reporters he had returned home for a "rest".
"Carlos returned from his recent trip to Argentina and was not match-fit," a City spokesman said.
"The coaches therefore devised a training plan to return him to full fitness. Carlos is part way through that plan and is due to resume his training on Wednesday morning at Carrington following a rest day on Tuesday."
