Andre Santos 'out for a while' for Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed he expects defender Andre Santos to be "out for a while" with an ankle injury picked up during the Gunners' Champions League defeat to Olympiacos on Wednesday.
Santos, 28, picked up the problem in the second-half of the clash in Greece and was stretchered off in some discomfort.
Wenger confirmed after the game that the initial prognosis was not good, with the Brazilian set to miss Saturday's Premier league clash with Everton at Emirates Stadium and an extended spell on the sidelines possible.
"Santos suffered a bad ankle injury. He looks like he will be out for a while," Wenger said. "We have Kieran Gibbs coming back (from a stomach problem) in two to three weeks.
"Hopefully Santos will not be too long but, for Saturday against Everton, he looks to be short."
After initially struggling for form following his arrival from Fenerbahce in August, Santos has looked increasingly settled and has been a mainstay of Wenger's back four for the past couple of months.
With Santos, Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson all injured, it may rest on skipper Thomas Vermaelen to occupy the left-back berth against the Toffees this weekend.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski could also face a spell out of action after he too was stretchered off in Greece, following a clash with Vermaelen.
"He felt a deep cut on the knee," Wenger said of the Poland international.
