Harry Redknapp, Rafael Benitez, Pep Guardiola and Fabio Capello are among a list of 13 coaches named on a shortlist by the Russian Football Union (RFU) in its quest to appoint a new manager.

The RFU announced on Monday its intention to reveal a shortlist of candidates on Tuesday as the nation is currently without a boss after Dick Advocaat stepped down following their group stage exit at Euro 2012.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini had been linked with the position, but on Monday it was confirmed by the Premier League champions that the Italian had agreed a new five-year contract.

Instead, Russia's list comprises of: Benitez, Anatoliy Byshovets, Marcelo Bielsa, Valery Gazzaev, Guardiola, Capello, Andrey Kobelev, Yuri Krasnozhan, Marcelo Lippi, Valery Nepomniaschy, Nikolai Pisarev, Redknapp and Yuri Semin.

Redknapp is currently without a club after parting company with Tottenham in June, while Benitez has been jobless since being sacked by Inter Milan in 2010. Guardiola, meanwhile, is currently taking time away from management after calling time at Barcelona.

Capello is a free agent after leaving his post with England in February while his Italian compatriot Lippi currently oversees Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande. Bielsa's future at Athletic Bilbao has recently been the subject of conjecture.
