Arsene Wenger has ranked Jack Wilshere's opening goal in Arsenal's 4-1 win over Norwich among the top three ever scored in his 17 years at the club.

Premier League leaders Arsenal put Norwich to the sword at the Emirates, with Wilshere breaking the deadlock after 18 minutes by capping off an intricate one-touch passing move between himself, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud.

Mesut Ozil also bagged his first Premier League goals, either side of Aaron Ramsey's ninth of the season.

Jonny Howson had made it 2-1, with Norwich keeper John Ruddy producing a string of saves the keep the score down.

"It was certainly one of the best goals [in my time]," said Wenger.

"It was a team goal… A mixture of technical quality, speedy thinking, quick reactions and as well calm in front of goal. It had nearly everything.

"You only realise when you see it again on the big screen how unbelievable it is. I'm convinced you will see that goal a lot.

"A better team goal honestly doesn't come to mind yet. It's certainly one of the top three I've seen."
