Moyes rubbishes RVP injury claims
After the 2-0 win over Swansea on Saturday, David Moyes rubbished reports that Robin van Persie will be out for a further six weeks with his thigh injury.
The Dutchman has missed Manchester United's last nine games and has only featured twice in two months. And it was suggested that the former Arsenal captain will not return until the second half of February - but Moyes insisted that is not the case.
"I don't know where that has come from," Moyes said. "That would be wrong information as far as I am concerned at the moment."
Van Persie, who watched the game from an executive box, is back in training at Carrington which is good news for the club given the injury to Wayne Rooney which saw the England striker depart for warm weather recovery in Egypt this week.
