Murray upbeat ahead of Querrey clash

Andy Murray believes he is hitting form at the right time as he prepares to take on American Sam Querrey in the fourth round at Wimbledon.
The Scot struggled for form prior to arriving at SW19, recording 11 wins in the five months following his Australian Open final defeat to Roger Federer, but cruised past France's Gilles Simon in the third round, winning 6-1 6-4 6-4.
The 23-year-old is yet to lose a set at the All England Club this year and that form has put the world No. 4 in an upbeat mood ahead of taking on Querrey on Centre Court.
"The start's been very good and something that I needed for the confidence," Murray told the Daily Star. "It's obviously showed in the first few matches. But I'm going to have to play better next week if I want to go all the way.
"I did feel I wasn't too far away from playing very good tennis again. I just needed to put more work in, and I did that the week before. So that definitely helped me going into the tournament with my belief."
Murray, who will face either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or Julien Benneteau in the quarter-finals if he overcomes Querrey, has enjoyed a relatively comfortable route to the fourth round. In contrast, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have both had to come through five-set matches but Murray feels that is a reflection of the depth of quality in the men's game at present rather than any dip in form for the world's top two players.
"It's different obviously if they lose the matches but when they come through, you are always expecting them to play well, and they will this week, that is for sure," he said. "They always play their best towards the latter stages of the tournament and in the matches I have watched, their opponents have played incredibly well.
"Sometimes people don't give enough credit to the opponents and just look at Federer and Nadal's form.
"I saw a little bit of Federer's match with (Alejandro) Falla and some of the second-round match and the opponents played really, really good tennis.
"It is the same with Rafa - tennis is so deep now and so strong that those guys are going to come up and play some great tennis."
