Bradley in the frame to succeed O'Neill

The money has come in for Bob Bradley to succeed Martin O'Neill at Aston Villa and the USA coach has left the door ajar by confirming he would like to chance his arm in Europe.
O'Neill quit Villa on Monday, just five days before the start of the season, and owner Randy Lerner is scouring the market for a replacement. A host of managers have been put forward, including David Moyes, Mark Hughes, Alan Curbishley and Sven Goran Eriksson, but Bradley's name is prominent in the betting markets.
"The first enquiry we had for the next Villa boss was for Bob Bradley, who managed the USA side to reach the last 16 in South Africa during the summer," Stan James' head of PR Charlie McCann said. "We want to keep Bradley on our side given the usual suspects look a bunch unlikely to have the Villa faithful purring."
Bradley has not commented directly on the Villa role, but is not averse to the prospect of heading across the Atlantic.
"I have said over and over as well that I am always excited about new and different challenges," Bradley said. "Certainly coaching in Europe at some point is something that I would love to do.
"At the same time, I also consider it a challenge when you finish one [World Cup] cycle and begin the process of working on another one. From the time one World Cup ends, you begin to go through the process of assessing where you are."
