Hammers offer Adebayor £100k-per-week loan deal

West Ham have offered to pay weekly wages of £100,000 to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on loan from Manchester City, but even that lucrative offer is not enough to bring the striker to Upton Park.
Adebayor has been unable to secure a regular place in Roberto Mancini's side and it is believed that he is seeking a permanent exit when the transfer window opens in January.
West Ham are hoping to take advantage of the player's possible availability but with Adebayor currently earning £180,000 on a weekly basis and with City unwilling to subsidise his wages during a loan spell as they have done with Craig Bellamy, the Premier League's bottom club have been unable to strike a deal.
A source told ESPNsoccernet: "He's on such high wages it is difficult to see who will buy him. He has indicated he won't decide what he wants to do until the end of January, as he ideally wants a permanent move."
West Ham have also been linked with Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara, who enjoyed a successful loan spell with Portsmouth under Avram Grant last season.
However, the Hammers are reluctant to sign a player who has missed large portions of the season due to a back injury.
