Kean to be handed 'two to three year contract' - Venky's

Steve Kean is set to stay as Blackburn Rovers manager for at least "two to three years", with new chair Anuradha Desai lauding his "positive" nature and "vision".
After Sam Allardyce was sacked in December by new owners the Venky's Group, former first-team coach Kean was handed the reins on a temporary basis.
Many thought Neil McDonald, Allardyce's assistant, should have been appointed, but former Coventry City assistant boss Kean stepped into the breach.
Rovers have only won one game since Kean took charge, but Desai insists the 43-year-old is the right man for the job and he will be rewarded with a permanent contract.
"He is going to stay beyond the end of the season," she told Sky Sports News. "We are making a contract for him which is going to be like a full-time contract, it's not just about this season. At least two to three years.
"He is a very positive person, he thinks well. He has a vision, and he thinks well of Blackburn Rovers. He's a good thinker and that's his biggest strength."
