Beckham deal not dead - Redknapp

Harry Redknapp has revealed that he is still hopeful of signing David Beckham on a two-month loan from LA Galaxy.
The deal looked to be dead in the water on Sunday morning, with Redknapp suggesting that a problem over insurance had scuppered negotations. Reports subsequently emerged that Beckham would train with Spurs - but not play for the club.
However, in the wake of Tottenham's 3-0 FA Cup triumph over Charlton, Redknapp performed a U-turn on the situation.
"I don't honestly know," he said. "That's being done above my head. Hopefully it could still happen. The situation is ongoing. I was led to believe that insurance was a problem, but apparently that's not the case."
