Sunderland target Muntari eyes move to London

Sunderland's approach for Sulley Muntari looks set to end in failure after the Inter Milan midfielder revealed he is not interested in moving to the north of England.
Muntari enjoyed an impressive first stint in English football with Portsmouth, where he was signed by Harry Redknapp. He later moved to Italy for £12 million.
Black Cats boss Steve Bruce recently made approaches for Muntari and Paris Saint Germain midfielder Stephane Sessegnon, but he looks set to fail with at least one of those bids.
Muntari has recently been linked to a reunion with Redknapp at Spurs, where Wilson Palacios has shown inconsistent form this season, and the Ghana international insists he would only move to the capital.
"If I have to leave Inter Milan, I'll go to London," he told the Italian media. "That is the only possibility."
Bruce had been targeting a loan arrangement with Muntari.
