After a weekend packed with surprise results, the Top 14's big hitters will all want to redress the balance this time out. Of the top four only Castres were able to register a victory in the last round of games, thumping Toulouse to move level on points with Perpignan at the top.

Castres have the trickiest tie of the top four this weekend, welcoming Biarritz to the Stade Pierre Antoine. Biarritz took the points away from their away tie with Clermont Auvergne despite having a raft of youngsters in their starting line-up.

Clermont host Bourgoin this weekend and despite their injury problems the home side will be confident of seeing off a side that has slipped in to the relegation zone after a poor run of form. Reports of further infighting at Bourgoin following their financial strife early in the season will not have helped their preparations, while Clermont are hopeful of being able to include Springbok Brent Russell after a thigh problem.

Jacques Brunel had no excuses after his Perpignan side slipped to an away defeat against relegation favourites Albi and they face another road trip this weekend, this time to face strugglers Bayonne. Brunel will not be able to call on Damien Chouly, who picked up a knee injury against Albi and is set for a while on the sidelines.

Toulouse have had a week to lick their wounds and return to the Stade Ernest Wallon this weekend, with Montauban the visitors. Guy Noves has Maxime Medard, Yannick Jauzion, Thierry Dusautoir, Yann David, Cedric Heymans, Vincent Clerc and William Servat away with France as they prepare to take on the All Blacks and his problems are compounded with regulars Florian Fritz and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde on the treatment table.

Jonny Wilkinson's poor autumn in an England shirt is not likely to deter Philippe Saint-Andre from re-installing him at fly-half for Toulon's trip to face Stade Francais. Wilkinson is joined in the Toulon squad by Felipe Contepomi, who made his return from injury against Brive last weekend.

Brive travel to Montpellier following their defeat to Toulon last weekend, which left them hovering above the drop-zone in 11th place. The round's other game sees Albi look to build upon their surprise triumph over the champions with a tough away tie against Racing Metro.
