HRT has confirmed that its new car will not ready in time to take part in the final day of testing in Barcelona.

With the new car being built near Munich, the team needed the F112 to be completed and sent by Saturday morning in order to give it any chance of testing on Sunday. However, HRT says that the car is still being built and so will not make it down to the Circuit de Catalunya before the end of the final pre-season test.

The team confirmed to ESPNF1 that it will know over the next 24 hours if the car would be able to make it to Spain by Monday, in which case it could possibly complete a filming day. The most likely location would still be Barcelona due to the logistical ease, but HRT can explore other locations if required.

The filming day would allow the team to shakedown the car but its mileage would be limited and HRT would require the approval of the rest of the paddock.
