Raikkonen still not happy despite improved qualifying
Kimi Raikkonen is still struggling with the set-up of his Lotus despite an improvement on recent qualifying performance in India on Saturday.
Raikkonen will start sixth on the grid, his highest spot since the Hungarian Grand Prix in July, but said he was still not happy with the way the front of the car is working on the current tyres.
"I think the issues are still there, but it's maybe a little bit less," he said. "For sure we can't go much faster but we just have to get rid of those things and that's not a simple thing to fix. We will just have to try something again in the next race."
Raikkonen said on Friday that restrictions Pirelli has put in place over suspension settings and tyre pressures have made it even more difficult to find a decent set-up.
"Overall it's a little bit better but it's still not as I want it," he added. "There are still some issues but it's been a bit better. Usually we do better in the race and that's the objective tomorrow. There are lots of different ways of doing the race and there's a big difference in the tyres so we'll just see how it is."
