For only the second time this season, there will be two separate DRS zones in use for the Indian Grand Prix.
The FIA confirmed on Wednesday that the detection zone for the first zone will ten metres after the exit of turn 15, with drivers able to overtake after turn 16 down the shorter pit straight.
The second DRS detection zone point will be on entry to turn 3, with the activation point between turns 3 and 4 giving drivers half of the long back straight to make their overtaking manoeuvres. It should make for overtaking aplenty and spice up proceedings, according to Force India driver Paul di Resta.
"Basically it looks quite dusty so I would imagine it will improve quite a lot over the weekend," said di Resta. "One end of the track looks very quick and a lot of straights, and one end is very technical. I think with the double DRS zone I think there will be quite some racing going on."
The first time two independent DRS detection and activation points were used was at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in September.
