Grosjean wary drivers might pick on him

Romain Grosjean says he is aware other drivers might try to play on his recent first-lap mistakes at the start of the Korean Grand Prix.

Grosjean had his eighth early-race incident of the season at the Japanese Grand Prix and got his second penalty for causing a first-corner collision. He was banned in Monza after causing a first lap pile-up at Spa and was given a stop-go penalty at Suzuka for hitting Mark Webber.

"It was good to come to the press conference to speak about it," he said. "For sure we cannot ignore it and as I said I'm the first one to be conscious of the risk and everything.

"I think drivers will play with the fact that they know that I'm in a bit of a difficult situation - that's not a secret - but never mind. I'll do what I need to do, I've taken hundreds of starts in my life so I know how to take it ... I just need to get the right objective at the right time."

But he said it was just a small part of his race weekend that he needed to work on.

"I love racing and I'm looking forward to the race," he added. "It's one minute thirty seconds that I need to work on in the race and then the rest of the race is very good. We've made a step forward and I think this week was quite helpful in terms of working on myself and I hope I can show that."
