Bruno Senna has dismissed reports linking him with a switch to Lotus in 2011.

The rumour-mill started with a claim Jarno Trulli, currently at Lotus, was looking to make a move to the USA to join the NASCAR series. But those were dismissed by him. "The truth is that before coming to Brazil I went to Miami and met [Juan Pablo] Montoya to exchange watches that bear our names," he said. "I'm calm about the future, as I've already been involved by [Mike] Gascoyne in the 2011 project."

Senna then added his denial. "There is nothing to it," he said. "The stories are ridiculous. It's bad for the job, because I look a fool when I go to speak with other teams."

But Trulli's manager, Lucio Cavuto, told Autosprinthe thought the rumours were invented by Senna. "Those are just rumours bandied about by Senna, who as far as I know has even had trouble respecting the financial obligations he took with Hispania this year."
