Mercedes will launch its 2010 Formula One car on January 25 at its museum in Stuttgart.

The story was leaked by German newspaper Bild, which also reported that the car will be named the "Mercedes-Petronas RB1" - "RB" being the initials of team boss Ross Brawn.

The success of Michael Schumacher's return to F1 rests on the car, after he joined his good friend and ex-Ferrari colleague Brawn at the team just before Christmas.

It will be launched in time for the first test at the Ricardo Tormo circuit outside Valencia on February 1. However, it has yet to be decided whether Schumacher or his team-mate Nico Rosberg will get the first drive.
