Klitschko tells Haye to 'stop running' from title fight

Wladimir Klitschko has laid down the gauntlet to David Haye by telling him to "stop running away" from a heavyweight title fight.

Klitschko, who holds three championship belts, also accused Haye of having "bitched out" of potential fights with himself and brother Vitali. Haye has twice failed to complete a bout against the siblings despite the two camps being locked in talks.

Since defeating John Ruiz to defend his WBA strap, Haye has made no secret of his desire to face either of the fearsome Ukrainian brothers - and now it seems he may get his wish.

"David, you've bitched out on fighting both Klitschko brothers twice already and now is the time to make it happen," Wladimir said.

"On behalf of the boxing fans around the world, I am officially calling you out to fight me. You can't run away from me forever and you need to follow through with this fight to get respect. I'm ready. What are you waiting for?"

Klitschko's statement will come as a blow to European heavyweight champion Audley Harrison, who is set to vacate his belt to seek a world title fight.
