'We don't have any weak circuits,' says Webber

In an ominous warning to his rival teams, championship leader Mark Webber is confident that his Red Bull RB6 machine will be the car to beat in the majority of races left on the calendar.

Webber leapfrogged Lewis Hamilton at the top of the drivers' standings after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix. And after a run of strong races for Red Bull, Webber says there is plenty more to come from the Milton Keynes based outfit at the remaining seven venues.

"I think we've shown this year that the car is performing on all tracks so we hope we don't have any weak circuits," Webber told Red Bull's official website.

The RB6 has proved in a class of its own at the majority of medium to high downforce circuits this season, the car's blown rear diffuser and flexible front wing working to devastating effect. Webber's only slight concern is on circuits with longer straights, where the horsepower of rival teams and McLaren's F-duct may offer an advantage.

"For sure Singapore should be good, Suzuka, Brazil and Abu Dhabi. We're a little bit worried about how the long straights might go at some of the other venues and maybe Monza. But the car is very, very strong at most tracks so we're ready to take on anyone at any venue and I'm looking forward to all the races coming up and the RB6 should perform everywhere."

Webber, who has already added victories at two of the 'signature races' in Monaco and Silverstone to his CV, also has other goals outstanding that he wants to achieve this season, including the drivers' title.

"It would be nice to win Spa, Suzuka and a few other victories this year, and along with that hopefully comes something special. But we need to focus on being consistent on some tracks where we are not quite there or I'm not quite there because you need perfect weekends to win at this level. Of course Sebastian and I are pushing each other pretty hard as well to beat each other and you need to get everything right."
