Singapore flattens circuit's bumps
Singapore Grand Prix organisers have made minor changes to the circuit for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix.
In order to improve safety and driver comfort, turns 3-7 and 14-19 have been resurfaced to minimise bumps, and the pit lane surface has been lowered by a centimetre and resurfaced to allow a smoother transition to and from the track.
The turn ten chicane where Kimi Raikkonen crashed in 2008 has also been changed, with the kerbs realigned to make the changes of direction more gradual.
Furthermore changes have also been made to the circuit's aesthetics with the walls run-off areas decorated in bright colours.
