Venus on track as Ivanovic falls

Venus Williams extended her winning streak as she eased past Roberta Vinci to move into the fourth round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.
The No. 3 seed, who last won in Miami in 2001, lost just eight points on her serve as she cruised to a 6-1 6-4 victory. Williams is now unbeaten in twelve matches following titles in Dubai and Acapulco, and looked in little danger against the world No. 55.
Top seed Svetlana Kuznetsova also enjoyed a comfortable victory, beating Hungary's Agnes Szavay 6-2 6-3. The Russian struggled with her first serve but nonetheless moved through to the next round with plenty to spare.
Ana Ivanovic battled valiantly but she was undone by sixth seed Agnieszka Radwanska. The former world No. 1 broke her opponent's serve on five occasions, and looked on course to take the match to a deciding set, but Radwanska secured a crucial break late in the second to seal a 7-5 7-5 victory. The Pole will now face world No.48 Yaroslava Shvedova, who beat Andrea Petkovic 6-0 5-7 7-5.
Elena Baltacha's conqueror, Belgian No. 12 seed Yanina Wickmayer moved into round four after a 6-3 6-3 victory over Croatia's Petra Martic. She will now face Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky after her 6-2 6-2 victory Polona Hercog.
Elsewhere, there were victories for Daniela Hantuchova and Marion Bartoli.
