Andy Murray's Wimbledon first-round opponent Jan Hajek has been receiving tips from Tomas Berdych - the man who ended the Scot's French Open dreams.

The world No. 90, playing only his second match at Wimbledon, is plotting to become the second Czech player to beat Murray in a Grand Slam this year and has spoken to fellow countryman Berdych, who beat Murray in straight sets in the fourth round at Roland Garros, about the weaknesses of the British No. 1's game.

"I spoke to him (Berdych) a little bit, he has told me a couple of things about his game," Hajek said. "I know his game, I've seen him many times on the TV. I've never played against him.

"He is a great player, very solid from the baseline and a good server. He is a very complete player.

"I know he has had some problems, he didn't play so well. But I think this is his favourite tournament so, for sure, he will be ready 100%."

Hajek, who has not played at the All England Club since 2007, has been in good form recently and won the Czech Open last month by beating world No. 25 Radek Stepanek in the final. Despite his lack of exposure to the grass courts of Wimbledon, the 26-year-old believes he is capable of producing the goods on the surface.

"When I saw the draw, my first thought was it was tough but I feel I can play a good game on grass," he said. "I've not played many games on grass this year but I like grass.

"I played Wimbledon three years ago and lost to Juan Carlos Ferrero in five sets, but I played a good game. I've been practising for five days on grass and I feel good."
