Andy Murray has been seeded four for next week's US Open, with world No. 1 Rafael Nadal seeded one at Flushing Meadows.

The US Open follows the current ATP world rankings, with five-time winner Roger Federer seeded two and Novak Djokovic three.

Andy Roddick is the highest ranked of the home party at nine, while the big names will be relieved to see David Nalbandian sneak into the top bracket at 31.

The women's seeds will be announced later on Tuesday, having been put back due to the delay in the completion of the Rogers Cup, and the draws will take place at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol on Thursday.
