Stefano Coletti and Kevin Ceccon will both drive for Toro Rosso at the Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi at the end of the season.

Coletti had already revealed via Twitter on Wednesday that he would be driving for the team at the Yas Marina circuit, and it has now been confirmed that he will share the car with Ceccon. Both drivers competed in GP2 this season, with Coletti finishing the season in 11th place with 22 points. His season was cut short during the feature race at Spa-Francorchamps when a crash left him with compression fractures in two vertebrae, but he has since returned during the post-season tests.

Ceccon participated in four rounds of the GP2 championship this season, failing to score a point. He has been confirmed alongside Coletti to drive for Scuderia Coloni in the GP2 finals in Abu Dhabi, and Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost said he was looking forward to working with them both.

"Scuderia Toro Rosso is well used to training young drivers and we are pleased to add Coletti and Ceccon to the list of students who have been through the Scuderia Toro Rosso school," Tost said. "Neither of them is part of the Red Bull Young Driver Programme, which is down to the fact that those drivers currently on the programme are still too young and inexperienced to deal with a Formula 1 car."
