Leben and Munoz headline UFC 138 in Birmingham

Chris Leben and Mark Munoz will headline the card at UFC 138, which will be held in Birmingham in November.

Just six weeks after UFC UK vice-president Marshall Zelaznik admitted a UK event in 2011 was unlikely, he has confirmed that Birmingham's LG Arena will host the event on November 5.

Full details of the event are yet to be finalised, but Zelaznik promised "fireworks" when the middleweights Leben and Munoz take to the Octagon on Bonfire Night.

"I'm very happy to announce UFC 138 will be bringing fireworks to Birmingham on November 5," Zelaznik said.

"The last time the UFC was in the second city was UFC 89 in October 2008, and we are very happy to be going back there this Bonfire Night."
