Mir targets Lesnar and Overeem

Frank Mir is open to a fight against either Brock Lesnar or Alistair Overeem as he weighs up his future options.

Dana White has said Lesnar will return to action in early 2012, while Strikeforce star Alistair Overeem is reportedly close to penning terms with the UFC.

"If [a Lesnar fight] works out, it works out," Mir told Middle Easy. "I just want to fight again, it doesn't matter who. [Fighting] Overeem would be pretty cool if he actually came over. I think he's a great fighter, he's done a lot in this sport. I'd like to test myself against him."

Lesnar, who lost his heavyweight title to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121, looks the most likely option for Mir. The pair have fought twice in the past, with the series split at 1-1.
