Bisping, not Munoz, could be next for Sonnen

Chael Sonnen has hinted his next opponent could be Michael Bisping, and he claims he currently has "no fight with Mark Munoz".

Sonnen was widely believed to be heading for a Munoz showdown on the UFC on Fox 2 card, with victory likely to lead to a shot at middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

However, Sonnen v Munoz has never been officially endorsed by the UFC, and Sonnen revealed on Wednesday that he currently has no opponent.

Bisping fights Jason Miller on Saturday and, speaking at the World MMA Awards, Sonnen seemed to hint the outcome of the fight will dictate his next rival.

"I have no fight with Mark Munoz," Sonnen told FightHub.

"My next fight will be based on... I don't know how much I can say, but I'll be watching the TV Saturday night, put it that way."
