Michael Bisping was greeted by trademark boos at Friday's UFC on Fox 2 weigh-in, but he silenced any doubters by hitting the 185lb target for his fight with Chael Sonnen.

Rumours swirled in Chicago that Bisping was set to miss weight, but he arrived at the weigh-in in calm mood, smiling at the crowd as he aimed a one-finger salute. The Brit then made weight comfortably to get the green light for Saturday's co-main event.

Sonnen then arrived, looking in awesome shape, also hitting the 185 marker despite keeping his trousers on. At the square-off he and Bisping exchanged words, and if anything it was the Brit looking more relaxed.

Ahead of the main event, Phil Davis took the chance to wind up Rashad Evans by wearing trademark wrestling get-up from his Penn State days, mocking Evans' inferior college wrestling background. Both men were bang on target for the required 205lb weight class.

Demian Maia was the more popular character with the crowd in the other main event bout, weighing in at 186lbs for his middleweight contest with Chris Weidman.
