Dana White 'beyond disappointed' at Nick Diaz

UFC president Dana White has expressed his disappointment after news arrived that Nick Diaz tested positive for marijuana at UFC 143.

Diaz was defeated by Carlos Condit in the night's main event, but the UFC was all set to book a rematch when White revealed Condit had agreed to the sequel. However, a Thursday statement from the Nevada Athletic Commission has changed everything.

"Mr Diaz tested positive for marijuana metabolites. A complaint for disciplinary action against Mr Diaz has been filed," Nevada Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer informed the media.

The potential consequences for Diaz are yet to be spoken of in any official manner, but certainly White is not impressed by the news.

"I am beyond disappointed that he tested positive for marijuana," White said in an official statement. "It is now in the hands of the Nevada State Athletic Commission."
