Hardy welcomes talk of a Chris Lytle tear-up

Dan Hardy has revealed he would actively encourage a future bout with Chris Lytle after the welterweight said he wanted to fight the winner of Hardy's bout with Carlos Condit.
Following his defeat to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 111, which saw the Brit spend the majority of the fight on his back, Hardy is looking forward to a tear-up with Condit at London's O2 Arena on October 16. Condit has only been to a decision twice in his last 12 fights, and that is exactly the type of opponent Hardy craves.
"I like guys like that," he told ESPN. "I would definitely put Carlos in the top five 'fun fights' because he comes to win. He comes to choke you, to submit you, to knock you out. That's exactly what I want."
Lytle recently defeated Matt Serra in a three-round slugfest at UFC 119, making it four wins on the spin for the 36-year-old. So often a gatekeeper figure in the 170lb division, Lytle is becoming a dangerous prospect, and he wants either Hardy or Condit next.
"I've read on the forums that Chris Lytle has mentioned he would like fight the winner of my next fight, which I'm assuming will be me," said Hardy. "That'd be a great fight, Chris Lytle always brings it, always trades punches. That'd be a good scrap."
