Randy Couture has opted to stay light on his feet for his UFC 129 encounter with Lyoto Machida, tipping the scales with plenty to spare at Friday's weigh-in.

Couture came in two-and-a-half pounds below the absolute legal limit of 206lbs, suggesting he has put plenty of value on his footwork in order to counter Machida's elusive style.

In the main event, Georges St-Pierre weighed in at 169.5lbs. GSP has claimed he will put on more than 20lbs by the time he steps inside the Octagon, predicting he will be around the 193lb mark.

There were no problems for Jake Shields, who struggled during his previous weight cut for the Martin Kampmann fight, this time registering 169lbs.

Ben Henderson had work to do ahead of his lightweight battle with Mark Bocek, after he weighed in half a pound over the legal limit at 156.5lbs. However, Henderson returned later to weigh in at a legitimate 156lbs.
