Shogun tips Rampage to beat Hamill

Mauricio Shogun Rua has predicted Rampage Jackson will defeat Matt Hamill when the pair clash at UFC 130 this weekend.

Rampage and Hamill meet in the night's main event, and in the case of Jackson there is the serious possibility that he could earn a title shot at Jon Jones with victory.

Randy Couture has weighed in with his thoughts on the contest, stating that Rampage's head is not in the right place whilst predicting Hamill will out-wrestle the former champion.

However, Shogun has faced Jackson in the past, defeating him in emphatic fashion when he broke his ribs in 2005. Rua knows Jackson well, but he predicts he will have too much for Hamill.

"Rampage is very strong and he punches very strongly. He also has good wrestling," Shogun told ESPN.

"I think Rampage wins because his boxing is better. Maybe a knockout."
