Dennis Siver isn't title material - Andre Winner

Andre Winner will appear on the same card as recent conqueror Dennis Siver at UFC 132, and the Brit has told ESPN that "people are over-rating" the German.

Winner was dropped and submitted by Siver at UFC 122, and the German kickboxer now moves on to a clash with Matt Wiman. Victory would once again spark calls for a title eliminator for Siver, who has won his last three including a victory over George Sotiropoulos.

However, Winner's Rough House team-mate Ross Pearson beat Siver back in March of last year, and Winner is convinced his own defeat to the German was self-inflicted.

Winner has his own fight to think about on July 2, against Anthony Njokuani, but he is convinced he would beat Siver if the pair were to share an Octagon for a second time.

"Dennis is a good fighter and I'd sound bitter if I said anything bad, but I think people are over-rating him a little bit," Winner told ESPN. "I was happy in the fight with him, we both threw the same amount of strikes, and if anybody was going to finish the fight it was going to be me.

"I was landing everything I wanted to land, Dennis was short with his punches and a little bit lost in the fight, but then I got caught because I threw a stupid combination. I was too settled and I got caught.

"Dennis is a good fighter, but he wouldn't beat Frankie Edgar or Gray Maynard, I don't think he'd beat Ross Pearson if they fought again.

"I'd love to have a rematch. Hopefully I win in impressive fashion [against Njokuani], win my next one, and then get a rematch with Dennis. I've had losses on my record, but that's the only one I can honestly say I had no injuries, no excuses. I got beat up, and I want to erase it."
