Williams holding off Hulkenberg decision
Williams' Adam Parr has admitted that the "cards are in the air" over the team's 2011 driver line-up, with Nico Hulkenberg's position not yet secure.
It is rumoured that Williams is considering replacing him with Pastor Maldonado, who is Hulkenberg's new successor as GP2 champion and substantially backed by money from his native Venezuela. Rubens Barrichello, whose place is believed to be secure, admitted last month that the team was "analysing the Nico Hulkenberg situation" before making an announcement about 2011.
Asked if Hulkenberg is still in favour, Williams chief executive Parr answered: "Absolutely." But asked for details about the delayed confirmation of the team's next line-up, he answered: "I cannot go into that. We haven't announced it yet and I don't think this is the moment to do that," adding that he doesn't know when an announcement will be made.
Finally, when asked if the "cards are in the air" over Williams' driver line-up, he admitted: "I am afraid they are at the moment."
