Barrichello questions Williams future

Rubens Barrichello has said that he will not stay with Williams beyond the end of the season unless the team improves its performance dramatically.
Williams has endured the worst start to a season in its history after failing to score in any of the first four races, and has subsequently announced that technical director Sam Michael and chief aerodynamicist Jon Tomlinson will be leaving at the end of the year. Barrichello said that the team has not been progressing, and as things stand he would not sign for another season.
"Williams must improve a lot for us to reach an agreement for next year," he told Autosport. "Things are standing still. It's not worth going on this way... I'm at the top of my game and I'm quite happy with that. Having said that, I need the team to start to shake up and I need to see differences."
With Mike Coughlan joining the team has chief engineer in June, Barrichello said it was a lack of leadership that had been hampering Williams so far.
"We need a leader. Right now, it is almost like we have too many but not enough. A lot of people are trying to say something but in the end that is not the point. They need to focus on what they are doing."
Barrichello also said he would be using his contacts in the sport to try and bring further personnel to the team.
"I can possibly recruit more people, look at other teams. I can. I am a top 10 guy in the paddock who has been around the longest. I know a few people and I am calling them."
