Vettel 'in another category' - Webber
Mark Webber says Sebastian Vettel "was in another category" during his victory in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Vettel beat Webber by over half a minute at Yas Marina despite Webber having started on pole position, with Webber having to hold off Nico Rosberg for second place as Red Bull secured a one-two. With Vettel winning so comfortably, Webber admitted he'd had no major issues and just been unable to match his team-mate.
"The start wasn't great," he admitted. "Nico got an unbelievable start, Seb's was a bit better than mine - I think that we were lucky we're not in Malaysia or Monza because it would have been even more painful. In the first stint I was just not strong enough on the soft tyres, Seb got a very good gap and I had to reposition then on the primes.
"After that the race started to go pretty well for me but Seb was gone; he was in another category out in front so I had to have a little battle with Nico for second. The guys did a great job on the car all week here, nice and reliable."
Webber added that he felt Vettel has managed to get everything working for him towards the end of the season.
"I think he's in the sweet spot for sure. Obviously I've got a few grey hairs now. I'm doing my best, but he's driving well and in the end I did my best today. It's a circuit where I've equalled my PB round here, so I would have liked to have got the win but that was Seb's today."
