Farah shatters British & European record

Mo Farah ran the fastest time in the world this year to set a new British and European 10,000 metres record at the Diamond League meeting in Oregon.
The 28-year-old ran 26 minutes 45.57 seconds to slice six seconds off Mohammed Mourhit's previous European record, which was set in 1999.
Jon Brown's British record - 27:18.14 - had stood for 13 years, but that also fell as Farah proved his class ahead of tougher tests to come.
"I want a world (championship) medal and showed here that if I keep working hard I will be in the mix," said Farah.
He finished the race three seconds ahead of Ethiopia's Imane Merga, who was defeated despite managing a personal best.
"I just sat at the back and worked my way through the field," said Farah. "This is definitely a special track. If it wasn't for the crowds I would never have done this. With three laps to go I knew I had the chance for the record."
Elsewhere, Kenya's Moses Mosop smashed the 30,000 metres record by clocking 1:26:47.4, breaking the previous record of 1:29:18.8 set by Japan's Toshihiko Seko in 1981.
