Brook heading Stateside on Froch undercard

Kell Brook is in line to feature on the undercard of Carl Froch's fight with Andre Ward in Atlantic City in December.

Brook is climbing the welterweight ranks and disposed of Rafal Jackiewicz earlier in October. His promoter Eddie Hearn feels the time has come to show his man off to the US audience, ahead of potential world-title shot in 2012.

"It is time to expose him to the US audience," Hearn told Sky Sports' Ringside. "All the bigwigs are going to be there and we are going to show them what Special K is all about."

Provided Brook, who has a 25-fight unbeaten record, comes through the December 17 bout with flying colours he could be in line for a title shot in Sheffield.

"We are looking at the end of March," Hearn said of a potential title shot. "Kell has a baby due at the end of January. We are looking at a possible world title shot in Sheffield Arena, if not it will be a huge, huge name."
