- Manny Pacquiao v Juan Manuel Marquez
Pacquiao 'could have killed sparring partners'

Manny Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz has added another voice to the chorus suggesting the Filipino intends to show no mercy to Juan Manuel Marquez when they meet on November 12 in Las Vegas.
According to those closest to him, Pacquiao is furious at Marquez's claim he was robbed of victory on the two previous occasions they have fought. In the first, Marquez battled back to earn a draw despite being floored three times in the first round; in the second, Pacquiao edged a split decision.
Marquez says he is going to put the record straight when he attempts to take the WBO welterweight title from Pacquiao - but Koncz thinks the Mexican is in for a heartbreaking evening.
"[Pacquiao] could have killed his sparring partners," Koncz said to the Manila Bulletin. "He will put an exclamation mark [on the win]. Manny has said that this fight will put an end to all the doubts and I do believe he will.
"He's been early for morning roadwork and early for his afternoon workouts. [I've] never seen him this serious although I'm not saying he wasn't [serious] during his previous training camps. I just saw changes in the way he trained for this fight."
