David Haye has signalled his intention that he would be keen to fight Tyson Fury, as talk about a massive British bout in the autumn gathers pace.

Rumours were rife last week that the two camps had sat down at the negotiating table to thrash out a deal.

Fury added fuel to the fire when he said on Saturday that he had bumped into Haye's manager Adam Booth and that a deal was "99% done". Fury later threw down an early marker by saying he 'hates' his fellow Brit and will deliver a 'spectacular knockout'.

Haye kept his own counsel over the weekend but took to Twitter on Monday evening to say it would be fun to step into the ring with the unbeaten Fury.

Haye, who is currently sidelined with a hand injury, did issue a note of caution by saying: " I read that Fury thinks a fight with me and himself is "99% done. HAHA. At best I'd say there's Light Discussions, that are moving slowly."
