I'm not ready for Mayweather - Khan

Amir Khan is in no rush to secure a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jnr because he does not feel ready to defeat the man touted as the world's pound-for-pound king.
After winning his brutal war with Marcos Maidana on December 11, Khan has trained his sights on a fight with the unbeaten American.
But the WBA light-welterweight champion feels he will only be able to overcome Mayweather after he has unified the division by defeating Timothy Bradley or Devon Alexander.
"[Mayweather] is a possibility in the future," Khan told BBC Radio. "A lot of people say I want to fight Mayweather next. I want to fight Mayweather in 12 months. It gives me time to mature and to get more experience. Hopefully around April I want to get one more fight in before I unify the division."
The 24-year-old, who signed up with Golden Boy Promotions in order to raise his profile in America, wants the Mayweather clash to take place on English soil.
"Before the end of 2011 or even in England at the beginning of 2012," he said. "The interest would be huge in England. I want to bring the biggest fights over here. To get a Mayweather to fight in England would be a huge success."
