Froch won't be able to cope with my power - Johnson

Veteran Glen Johnson has warned Carl Froch that he will be unable to deal with his power when the two collide in Atlantic City on Saturday, despite fighting at super-middleweight.
Johnson, 42, will aim to take Froch's WBC super-middleweight crown when the pair clash in the semi-finals of the Super Six tournament, with the winner set to meet American Andre Ward in the event's final.
A 67-fight veteran, Johnson has spent the majority of his 18-year career at light-heavyweight but a strict diet has helped The Road Warrior shift the excess needed to get down to 168lbs - where he has only fought twice in 10 years.
"I'm the fat boy who got slim," he said. "When I was 20 I weighed 200lbs. It ran in the family but when my wife Rosemary kept pinching my belly and drawing attention to my weight it was disturbing. So I went to the gym, lost weight and found boxing. More recently I became the fat old man, until the opportunity arose to come into this tournament as a substitute and I had to shed some pounds."
The Miami-based Jamaican has stuck to a specific diet which allows him five high-octane, low calorie meals a day in order to shed half a stone. Despite losing bulk, Johnson believes he is in the best shape of his life and insists he has the power to rock Froch's granite jaw.
He said: "I'm an ice cream freak and that's what I miss most but it's worth it. I don't know how old I feel. I just know I feel as great as I've ever felt in my life. I'm lighter but stronger and while I respect Carl I don't believe he has what it takes to beat me. Then I'll take care of Andre Ward in the final."
Johnson's longevity is a story in its own right and the former IBF light-heavyweight champion says his clean living will give him an advantage when he steps in the ring with The Cobra.
"I don't do any courageous stuff. Don't drink, party, smoke or do drugs. I do this game the right way and that is what will beat Carl Froch on Saturday," he said.
"How long will I keep doing this? As long as I feel good and enjoy my boxing, which is likely to be the case for a while yet."
