Hamilton gets out of his car under the podium and punches the air. He looks absolutely delighted with that win after a much cleaner victory than two weeks ago in Turkey.

Hamilton and Button hug each other as they prepare to step out on the podium.

Thankyou for joining us today for what was a fantastic Canadian Grand Prix. Check back in two weeks' time for the European Grand Prix at Valencia.

Lap 70

Last lap and Hamilton looks good for the win but we are focussed on Schumacher and Liuzzi.

Hamilton heads down the backstraight comfortably in the lead.

And crosses the line to lead a McLaren one-two ahead of Alonso, Vettel and Webber.

Liuzzi and Sutil are past Schumacher on the final lap and that means no points for the Mercedes driver. Liuzzi bangeed wheels in turn six and then Schumacher was forced onto the grass at turn eight and he got past. Sutil took advantage and got a good exit from the turn ten hairpin to pass into the final chicane.

Lap 69

Liuzzi now close to Schumacher but has to be careful with the way the Mercedes has been blocking this weekend. Schumacher skips the chicane but doesn't concede position.

Lap 68

Four laps remain and Hamilton leads Button by 3.4 seconds. Button is 3.0 seconds up on Alonso.

Vettel still has a comfortable gap over Webber of 7.2 seconds.

Liuzzi is now in tenth and is closing in on Schumacher. It's been a good race for him since his first lap accident.

Lap 67

The Schumacher/Massa incident will be investigated after the race.

Lap 66

Vettel asks if he can set a fastest lap and Red Bull say "don't even think about it" as he has some kind of car problem they are trying to manage from the pit wall.
